Meet Dr Oliver Turner
Oral surgery care is provided by Dr Oliver Turner, Joint Principal Dentist (GDC 309665). Oliver has completed a postgraduate certificate in oral surgery at the University of Bristol and is continuing further postgraduate diploma training. His approach combines careful planning with clear, calm explanations, so you understand each step and have time to make the decision that feels right for you. Common questions
Will an extraction hurt?
Local anaesthetic is used to numb the area. You may notice pressure, but you should not feel sharp pain. Tell us at any point if you are uncomfortable.
Can I have sedation?
Intravenous sedation may be an option for suitable patients after a separate assessment. We will explain the benefits, limitations and arrangements before anything is booked.
How long does recovery take?
Recovery varies with the tooth, the procedure and your health. We will give you personalised written aftercare and explain when to contact us.
