At The Treatment Centre, dentistry is more than a profession — it’s part of our story.

Founded in 1986 by Dr Anna Taylor’s father in a small surgery attached to the family home, the practice has grown alongside the community it serves. Many of the patients we care for today have been with us for decades — and we’re now proud to look after their children and grandchildren too.

In 2007, The Treatment Centre moved to its current home at Tinner’s Court in the heart of Truro, and in 2012 Anna took over the practice from her father. Since then, the practice has continued to grow, combining the values it was founded on — personal care, trust and lasting relationships — with continued investment in our team, facilities and modern dentistry.

In 2026, Dr Anna Taylor and Dr Oliver Turner became Joint Principals, beginning the next chapter in The Treatment Centre’s story. Together, they share a commitment to building on the practice’s family foundations while continuing to develop the care, technology and range of treatment we can offer our patients.

As we celebrate 40 years of caring for our community, we’re also looking firmly to the future. Our expansion from five to eight surgeries gives us more space to welcome patients, grow our team and provide an even broader range of care — while preserving the personal approach that has always made The Treatment Centre what it is.

Our dedicated team shares that same ethos, combining experience and skill with warmth, compassion and a commitment to continued learning. From everyday preventive care to advanced restorative, cosmetic and surgical dentistry, our aim is simple: to provide excellent, individual care in a place where patients feel genuinely looked after.
