TEETH WHITENING IN TRURO
Dentist-supervised whitening with custom trays, clear guidance and a naturally brighter result
Teeth can darken with age and become stained by tea, coffee, red wine or smoking. Professionally supervised whitening can lighten natural teeth using carefully prescribed gel and custom-made trays. Our aim is a result that suits you, with realistic advice and clinical oversight throughout.
Before prescribing whitening, a dentist checks that your teeth and gums are healthy enough for treatment and discusses fillings, crowns, veneers, dentures or implants that will not change colour. This helps avoid uneven expectations and allows any dental problems to be managed first.
Boutique at-home whitening
We provide Boutique at-home whitening. Impressions or digital records are used to produce close-fitting trays. You apply the prescribed gel at home according to your clinician’s instructions and attend review as advised.
The speed and final shade vary between people. Tooth sensitivity and temporary gum irritation can occur, so it is important to use the gel exactly as directed and contact us if you are concerned. Whitening is not permanent; diet, smoking and natural ageing can affect how long the result lasts.

Frequently asked questions
Will whitening change the colour of crowns or fillings?
No. Whitening lightens natural tooth structure but does not lighten crowns, veneers, fillings, dentures or implants. We will discuss how this may affect the final appearance.
Is teeth whitening safe?
Whitening supplied and supervised by a registered dental professional is the safest route. It is prescribed only after your mouth has been assessed and you receive instructions for the product provided.
Will my teeth become sensitive?
Some people experience temporary sensitivity. We can adjust the frequency of use and advise on sensitivity management if needed.
How white will my teeth become?
Results depend on the starting shade, tooth structure and type of staining. We aim for a natural improvement and cannot guarantee a particular shade.
