The Treatment Centre – Infection Control

So we thought in light of recent news events, we would write a piece on cross infection. It is something we are very proud of in our practice. Our practice in particular is talked about in seminars for it’s brilliant forward thinking design and how well it functions to prevent any kind of cross infection.

By providing effective infection control, and by having the layout we do ,the general public are able to see just how well we adhere and excel the current cross infection guidelines. By having such an open layout we can ensure that you, our patients feel safe and confident in our care, that is why the majority of our patients refer us to family & friends.

We pride ourselves on our infection control at the practice and this was also something that the CQC inspector picked up on in last years visit, it became one of their reasons for the overall good judgement in the report. She said, We found the decontamination of instruments was conducted in a designated decontamination area. The decontamination room was well set out in accordance with the principles set down in the Essential Quality Requirements of Department of Health Technical Memorandum (HTM01-05)

If you would like to ask any of our staff about our cross infection routine then please do, we will always be happy to answer any of your questions or queries.
