If you are not registered with The Treatment Centre but you would like to benefit from our dental hygienist services, you can now book a direct access dental hygiene appointment.
Our hygienist’s main work is to prevent and treat gum disease. This includes professionally cleaning your teeth by removing plaque and tartar (usually called a ‘scale and polish’ or a prophylaxis’). However, perhaps our hygienist’s most important role is showing you the best way to keep your teeth free of plaque. Plaque is a sticky coating that forms constantly on your teeth. We will also give advise about diet and about preventing tooth decay.
Our hygienist Kay can help if
- You have stained teeth
- You have gum disease
- You struggle to maintain good dental hygiene
- You need advice on keeping your teeth and gums healthy
A hygiene appointment at the treatment centre is £42.
