Dentistry is Our Legacy
The Treatment Centre was established by my father in 1986 and began in our family home. As a second generation dentist, I love that the patients my father saw when I was only a toddler have become my patients today and I am also meeting and treating their children and grandchildren.
We moved to our premises in Truro in 2007 and I took over from my father in 2012. During that time, I have grown the practice, invested in cutting edge technology and an incredible team of dentists, dental nurses and hygienists alike, along with a supportive Practice Manager, Charlotte, to steer the ship.
I am passionate about quality dentistry and about teaching and mentoring the next generation of dentists. Dedicating a lot of time to my studies, I am currently working towards my masters in Restorative Dentistry. We were also early adopters when it came to investing in Invisalign and we remain ahead of the curve of the technology that is on the horizon. We are always seeking new, innovative ways to give people their smile back.
But what I love most is this sense of legacy; of treating four generations of patients and knowing that now I have my own children watching me running the practice, just like I used to watch my father. From that young child to nursing for my father during the summer holidays, I learned so much from my studies but also from being by his side. Listening to and treating his patients alongside him, understanding that what sets a practice apart is not only the kit, the knowledge and the expertise, but the care.

As we approach our 40th year in business, I reflect on everything my father created-the traditional values that I have upheld and the modern approach that I have pioneered.
