Update – routine examinations

We would firstly like to thank all of our patients for being considerate and understanding during this unprecedented time.

Routine Appointments

We are now in the process of re- booking postponed routine adult and children’s examinations. We are currently operating a strict phased opening to ensure compliance with COVID-19, government guidelines and the safety of our patients and team.

Our reception team will contact you once we are able to invite you back to the practice and we kindly ask for your patience as they are working hard to ensure we are able to see you as quickly and safely as possible.

Due to our extremely busy phone lines, we kindly request that at this time if you wish to enquire in regards to routine examinations or have a non-urgent dental query to please email info@thetreatmentcentre.co.uk or phone after 11am when phone lines are quieter. This will enable our reception team to work through our lists as efficiently as possible.

Upcoming Appointments

If you have an upcoming appointment with us at the surgery, you will receive a COVID-19 screening form and other documentation in relation to your appointment, this will need to be completed within the 72 hours before the appointment, this will be via email. If you wish to opt out of email correspondence, please contact the surgery where an alternative method can be arranged.

When you arrive for your appointment

When entering the surgery, we kindly ask to arrive no more than 5 minutes early to your appointment. As we have very limited seating, we do also ask for you to attend your appointment alone unless a chaperone is required. Unless there is a medical exemption you are required to wear a mask within the communal areas at all times and the dentist will inform you of when it’s safe to remove your mask. Hand sanitiser is available throughout the practice for your safety. If assistance is required for entry, please ring the door bell where a member of our team will be happy to help. Please note our lift is in use for patients if required. 

We ask if you do not have an upcoming appointment with us, not to enter the surgery and to contact us via phone or email instead.

We are still continuing to offer emergency care to patients with a dental emergency or concern. We advise to contact the surgery at 8:30am Monday to Friday where advice or an appointment can be arranged.
