Covid-19 Update – 23rd March 2020
Yesterday, we received guidance from the British Dental Association (BDA) in relation to the provision of primary care dentistry, in line with the advice to increase social distancing, to reduce the use of public transport and to reduce demands on the health services. There is a growing unease, as infection levels grow, about the potential for spread of COVID-19 from asymptomatic patients.
The BDA recommends that practices cease routine dentistry and operate an advice and emergency service only. Consistent with Government advice to limit social contact, face to face contact will be kept to a minimum. We will therefore be operating a telephone advice service, which will be available throughout our normal working hours.
All pre-booked appointments will be automatically postponed for the foreseeable future and we will remain open to provide an advice and emergency service only. This can be arranged through our normal contact details:
Telephone 01872 241955 or Email info@thetreatmentcentre.co.uk
May I take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support throughout this period of uncertainty. Your health and safety is our primary concern.
