From the piazza square in Truro enter Tinners Court. This is an open courtyard on the left hand side of the square just beyond the Hall for Cornwall (if Lemon Street is behind you). On entering Tinners Court, you will pass a butchers on the right and a childrens charity shop and card shop will be on your left (we are situated on the first floor of this building). To find us, keep walking straight ahead towards a Georgian building. Before you enter an arch with estate agent details, access to the Treatment Centre is through a door on the left, next to Tootsie and Tiger. There is a lift if required.

The Treatment Centre
Our regular appointments are scheduled between 08.30-16.30 Monday to Thursday and 08.30-16.00 Friday. Hygienist appointments are available on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. We reserve the following times for Private Treatment: 16.30-18.00 on a Tuesday and Wednesday. In an emergency, whenever possible, please contact us during normal surgery hours. If you need to be seen the same day, please get in touch before 10.30.
For serious out of hours problems, please ring 01726 627800 for details of the duty dentist who will be happy to advise. This is a service provided by the local Kernow Clinical Commissioning Group (Kernow CCG), who is responsible for commissioning dental services in this area. Further information about local NHS dental services are obtained from the Kernow CCG, Sedgemoor House, Priory Road, St Austell on 0333 405 0290. Complaints Procedure
We aim to make your experience at the practice as pleasurable as possible. However, should you have any complaints, please contact Charlotte Sims on 01872 241955 (or email charlotte@thetreatmentcentre.co.uk ) who will be able to deal with your complaint and talk you through our procedure. Patient Confidentiality
We take patient confidentially extremely seriously at The Treatment Centre and all personal information is treated in the strictest confidence. Only members of staff have access to patient information. All our patient records are securely stored at our practice to ensure that any patient information is only accessed as part of your treatment. No information will ever be released to a third party without your express permission. We have a strict confidentiality policy, which can be downloaded here
New NHS Patients
We are currently unable to accept new NHS patients. If you would like to join the practice as an NHS patient, please contact 0333 006 3300 to add your name to our waiting list or email AccessDental.Helpline@nhs.net
Emergency care
If you are experiencing acute dental pain or facial swelling, please contact our reception team on 01872 241955 for an urgent appointment. Our lines are open from 8:30am Monday to Friday and we have dedicated emergency appointments reserved each day for urgent care. Our receptionists are required to complete a telephone triage form to document your dental concern and it may be necessary to seek advice from a dental clinician prior to booking these appointments. We advise for you to contact us before 10.30am to be triaged.
If you have a dental concern that is not an emergency, we have dedicated slots Monday to Friday which can be secured for non-urgent care. Please also let our reception team know if you are available to take a cancellation and we will be in contact with you should a sooner appointment become available.
Costings
If you have had a dental examination in the last year with us, the cost for either an urgent and a non-urgent appointment is from £60.00, if you are on a membership plan your assessment will be included with your plan. The appointment will include an assessment of your dental concern and temporary treatment may be provided to manage dental pain. There may be additional cost’s depending on the treatment provided and further future treatment could be recommended. The details and costs of your treatment plan will be outlined by your dentist.
